EHAM Schiphol Apron lighting v1.1
This scenery only applies extra lighting to the buildings of Schiphol Airport.
I was a little dissapointed in myself that I didn’t buy the Premium version of the game that includes a hand-crafter version of the airport. Sadly there are no third-party airports for Schiphol yet, so I need to ease the pain a little bit for myself.
To make arriving to the gate a little easier and less dark I decided to place some lights around the airport. These are divided in 2 categories:
Pier lighting:
Due to a lack of assets in the game for lighting on buildings there is 1 big mast at each gate. These are all placed related to the heading of the gate.
Apron lighting:
All apron lighting is placed based on GPS coördinates. I used all the correct masts as far as I could identify on the aerial photography
Please note:
The scenery was made with the Standard version of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. It is possible that lights are not correctly placed in the Deluxe and Premium versions of the game, as they are hand-crafted by Asobo
