For making the A330 really appear in AI traffic and reporting the aircraft type correctly during conversation with ATC, replace the [General] section in the aircraft.cfg of A330 (default path is “PMP_A330_300\SimObjects\Airplanes\amp-airbus-a330-300”, NOT the aircraft.cfg of the livery) as this:
