YGDS – Gregory Downs Airport v1.0

Gregory Downs Airport is a small public airport in North West Queensland. It is located on the Gregory River, about 2km NW of the outback town of Gregory and about 235km north of Mount Isa. The airport has no regularly scheduled commercial flights, but serves charter flights (often for the cattle stations), mail flights, and medical flights. The airfield is unstaffed and has no provisions for fueling, so plan carefully.

The main focus with this scenery was to fix the runway material and cut back a lot of trees in and around the airfield. This scenery uses all stock assets, you don’t need to download anything else for it to work.

Version 1.0:
Fixed Runway 17/35 to show a more accurate material, and added custom threshold markings
Fixed windsock location and added a pad for it
Fixed the apron and painted lines to be a bit more accurate
Added apron parking stands
Added gables for the runway
Removed trees from inside the airport
Removed trees from some of the roads around the airport
Removed blurry autogen road near the airport
Removed airport service vehicles
Misc. scenery fixes

Known Issues:
There may still be minor vegetation issues
No perimeter fence (won’t happen until Asobo develops a fence tool)
