Douglas DC-6 British Commonwealth Pacific Airlines VH-BPH v1.0
This folder contains a repaint for the Douglas DC-6 by PMDG for MSFS2020, in the colors of DC-6B c/n 43128 VH-BPH of Britsih Commonwealth Pacific Airlines. It was registered in 1948 and was named ‘RMA Dicovery’. It was used on the route Sydney-Auckland-Fiji-Canton Island-Honolulu-San Francisco-Vancouver. When BCPA was absorpbed by Qantas in 1954, VH-BPH went to TEAL of New Zeland as ZK-BCG until 1960. It then flew with the RNZAF until 1964. It then went to North America, where it flew as N255N, CF-PWQ and finally as N90MA in the role of waterbomber until 1985. Its cockpit section was purchased by Pekka Kauppi of Finland for use a simulator. The rest of the aircraft was scrapped.
