Better Cameras for De Havilland DH89 Dragon Rapide – 1.0
This beautiful little freeware plane is really fun to fly and has mostly working cockpit. There are however, only very few camera views than can be used and there are no cockpit and instrument views. Since the compass and the switches for the magnetos and starters are always behind the steering column I had to be a little creative.
– the “Down” view will simulate the pilot leaning forward over the column to see most of the cockpit panel and – most importantly – the compass.
– I included a seperate instrument view for the magnetos/starter, compass, electrics, engine instruments, trim and throttle and down to the flaps lever and the parking brake next to the seats. If you press the “up” view your virtual pilot will turn around to the right and look into the passenger cabin.
Installation:
just drop into your Community folder.
