CMH Bra
Founded on December 26,1986 by Doctor Luc Maquoi.
In order to respond to the long urgent medical intervention time in this rural and sparsely populated part of Belgium (between the ardennes and the Haute Fagnes, in the north of province of Luxembourg and south of the province of Liege).
Initially simply active with an ambulance, the association later rented a helicopter then professionalized until today employing around thirty people (14 doctors, 9 nurses, 5 pilots, a mecanic and several volunteers for the administrative part.)
The CMH is independent but the SMUR service is required by various federal 112 call center.
It is operational 7 days a week and 24 hours a day
