VFR Flight Plans – UK Lakes and Reservoir Tour v1.0
There are 13 short trips touring lakes from the south West to the Far North of the UK.
In order to make starts or landings on the lakes, I’ve created 58 fictional simple seaplane bases (SPB) with 2 or 3 docks. No scenery is added.
When using these flight plans it’s mandatory to install the seaplanebase pack in your community folder. The SPB have fictional icao codes from WR01 to WR58 and are visible in the sim.
Installation:
– the flight plans in the “uk-vfr-lakes-reservoirs-tour-flightplans” folder go in the folder with your other flight plans for loading as usual in the sim world map.
– the “uk-seaplanebase-lakes-reservoirs-tour” folder in the SPB pack folder goes in the community folder
Some SPB info (name, coordinates, elevation, altitude) can be found in the pdf file. For users of FStarter, a txt file with data for the poi txt file is added.
As it is all VFR – watch your altitude and speed. The flight plans are made with Plan-G.
