The most requested plane for Microsoft Flight Simulator is here! Ported from FSX, this beauty is flyable and looks great.
If you’re experiencing some wobble when flying these planes, try using the “Legacy Flight Model” and selecting FSX, as this helps.
The mod also comes with custom thumbnails.
The Douglas DC-3 is a propeller-driven airliner which had a lasting effect on the airline industry in the 1930s/1940s and World War II. It was developed as a larger, improved 14-bed sleeper version of the Douglas DC-2. It is a low-wing metal monoplane with conventional landing gear, powered by two 1,200 hp (890 kW) Pratt & Whitney Twin Wasp radial piston engines. It has a cruise speed of 207 mph (333 km/h), capacity of 21 to 32 passengers or 6,000 lbs (2,700 kg) of cargo, and a range of 1,500 mi (2,400 km), and can operate from short runways.

Installation Instructions: Move aircraft folder from zip to Community folder.

Hello, and thanks for this great upload !
As you seem to master the art of porting FSX planes to FS2020, may I suggest a plane to port ? A P-40, more precisely.
If you’re interested by the project, don’t hesitate to contact me to get the FSX files.

Plane looks good, but would have been nice to have a finished project, something half completed, Cant fly first person with this, its such an eye sore with no instruments.

  8. Clive Rich says:

When will you create the gauges. The imported gauges are BMP, and I understand that BMP is not used in MSFS2020. Am I correct?
    Thanks

I have just flown this plane from NZGS to NZWN and there were no instruments or exterior lights. However my Remote Cockpit (iPad) provided my with accurate instrumentation and my Logitech panels accurately set auto pilot and radio. The flight model and sound were good and I had no sim (or plane) crashes. I will continue to enjoy it. Thanks for your work.

    Where are the gauges?

Hello, is the plane (DC-3) updated after the 7th mendorate update of MSF2020 ? If not, when you will update the plane?
I love to fly this plane…
