FS2004 Bell X1 V1.0
FS2004 Bell X1 V1.0. Includes a VC (virtual cockpit) ,animated suspension and controls, reflective textures Etc. The Bell X1 was rocket powered and carried approx 5 minutes worth of fuel and was normally dropped from a mothership ,usually a B-29 adapted for the purpose, although it was originally designed for conventional ground Take-offs, a feat which Chuck Yeager succesfully completed on January 5th 1949. I was unable to make it rocket powered in FS2004 (Rockets are not supported in FS2004) so it is set up as a Jet. The thrust settings are what they would have been from the rocket so this ac will achieve realistic speeds. Aircraft was made using FSDS 3.0 by Julian Higgs. 3.6MB Bell X-1 V1.0 Update This is just an update for my Bell X-1 Glamorous Glennis containing a new Model file, a new airfile and aircraft config file, 2 new texture files, a new panel config file and 2 effects files. 690K
