Opened in 1974, Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, NJ is an amusement park complex comprising of Six Flags Great Adventure & Safari theme park and Six Flags Hurricane Harbor water park. At 510 acres, the theme park features 12 rollercoasters including the world’s tallest rollercoaster, Kingda Ka at 456ft. Originally opening as a self drive thru experience in 1974, the safari was combined with the theme park in 2012 to create the Safari Off Road Adventure guided vehicle tour attraction. Hurricane Harbor opened in 2000.
This scenery makes for a fun point of interest in New Jersey. The complex is adjacent to Prospertown Lake, a perfect landing spot for the Icon A5 after taking in the sights. Take out the drone and head over to the safari, populated with giraffes, elephants and bears. And watch for flocks of birds in the area too.

– Full night lighting, including flashing aircraft collision beacons on Kingda Ka.
