Norwegian Seaplaneports/-docks/-bases v0.1.0
This is a little sidekick project of mine. There are currently no seaplaneports/-docks/-bases in the sim. The absence of seaplanes might be a reason for that.
Still… We have the excellent Icon A5 that pretty much flies and lands wherever you want it to land.
I’ve started by adding the first 22 of 201 “official” seaplaneports in Norway. These are located from Oslo to Kristiansand.
What’s there:
“ICAO”-code
Parking
300 meters of “runway”
Static Icon A5
None of these have an actual ICAO-code, so I’ve constructed one after the numbering used on the Google-map
“Landingsplasser for sjøfly 2017” (Landing spots for seaplanes 2017). All spots are listed between ICAO EN163 and EN184 and should appear in the sim.
Future:
I’ll keep adding the coastal bases first, and then move on to the inland/mountain/lake bases – if there’s any interest for the project…
