EDDK Enhanced Aerial Image v1.0
Description
This is a version I created mainly for myself as a base to enhance the existing airport of Cologne/Bonn. The aerial image is based on an older image to remove the runway construction marks, constructions marks on the apron and improve the overall image quality of the aerial image. Yes, the download size is huge, but I am struggling to reduce the size without losing image quality.
There are known issues (some taxiways are “see through”, the runway is not perfectly aligned, etc.) which I will improve in further versions. I am currently in the process of enhancing EDDK overall and will provide my rendition of the airport in the coming weeks along with an improved aerial image.
As this is my first attempt to provide the community with an improved version, please feel free to share any thoughts, concerns and critique (please stay on topic). Thank you and have fun!
Installation
Just drag & drop the file into the community folder. Feel free to help yourself with one of the thousands tutorials on how to do so.
