LITA Aviosuperficie Sassuolo v1.0
I’m really happy to share with you my last month’s work (thank you Corona)This is my version of Aviosuperficie Sassuolo (LITA is the internal MSFS ICAO), it’s a long grass strip (about 1000 meters) located in the Northern Italy, Province of Modena, on the right side of the Secchia River. Dont’s you know it? It’s is just a buch of kilometer away from Maranello, where Ferrari’s are born Sassuolo is also very famous because it is a world leader in ceramic tiles production, if you fly over the nearby of the airport, you will see lots of colorful blobs next to factory plants: those are load of piles of ceramic tiles ready to ship worlwide!If you like motors, do not miss a fly by or even a landing on Fiorano’s racetrack, where Ferrari’s tunes it’s F1 cars
As all my sceneries, Sassuolo features – all custom buildings and PBR textures- custom night lighting – no additional assest are required to be downloaded- custom runway markers are visibile from far away in order to improve visibility- the Secchia river as been narrowed to match Bing’s ortho imagery for several kilometers north and south from the airport, and all vegetation around has been “regrown”- I’ve added some generic assest to re create the Frantoio (sand extraction plant) on the left side of the river, it is an important VFR point marking the entrance for left downwind runway 36- the Fiat G91 bomber gate guardian as been added as well , it’s a very old FS2k model from Kazunori Ito, I made the mandatory repaint work in order to get it like the original one- default MSFS handling pushback vehicles and personell: it might be overkill at times, but especially on Sundays or airshows this airport may become very busy
