Diamond Flight School v1.0
Repaints of the DA40 and DA62 in the livery of the fictional Diamond Flight School operating out of KSGJ Northeast Florida Regional Airport, St Augustine, Florida.
Repaint features:-
Custom exterior livery.
Custom interior colour.
Texture resolution increased from std 2048×2048 to 4096×4096 to allow more detailed fuselage graphics.
Coloured registration numbers using custom fonts.
ATC contact uses correct registation abbreviation.
Adjusted prop blur to reduce strobing on DA40.
INSTALLATION
Just copy the folders in this zipfile to your MSFS “Community” folder. While these repaints will work with the MSFS standard DA40 and DA62 I recommend you use the updated DA40 NGX and DA62X mods. You can find them here DA62 X Project and here DA42 NGX Project. I wouldn’t fly without these mods and my repaints work with both standard and these modded aicraft.
LIMITATIONS
The flight school in these liveries is purely fictional and is not based on any real world Diamond or other aircraft.
The white tips of the propeller blades on the DA40 are visible in the prop blur from inside the cockpit, which would not be the case in the real aicraft. This is a limitation of the model by Asobo, which was built with no prop tip colours. The DA62 has no prop blur modification.
