I normally focus on places that have no MS photogrammetry, but after a request and looking a the Oregon State Capitol in game I noticed there that while there is a noble MS interpretation of Salem, OR it did not include the golden Oregon Pioneer on top of the Capitol. So, I decided to try and change that.
Construction on Oregon’s third Capitol Building began in 1936 and was complete on June 18, 1938. An earthquake on March 25, 1993 damaged the dome and the rotunda area remained closed for two years. In April 2002 the Oregon State Capitol was the first state capitol in the US to produce solar power.
