FS2002 Merlin 66 Powered Spitfire MkIX
FS2002 Merlin 66 Powered Spitfire MkIX: This aircraft is NOT compatible with FS2004 and is specific to FS2002 ONLY. The panel has been tested and is FS2004 compliant. A specific aircraft.cfg file written to reflect Rolls Royce Merlin 66 engine sizes using 150 octane fuel, +25 max boost and then the aircraft is hand tuned to meet the assumed Spitfire MkIX spec in FS gear mode. Based on converting the CFS1 MkIX and using Bob Bongiovanni’s “Display in FS2002” model modification. Original CFS1 airfile is un modified. The resulting sim aircraft can be flown realistically in FS2002 flight plans fully achieving flight times and fuel consumption. Engine monitoring gauges by Jerry Beckwith. Packaged by Ross McLennan.
