FS2002 Scenery RAF Holme-on-Spalding-More RAF Holme, as the station was commonly known, is situated in the county of Yorkshire, England, and opened in August 1941, under No1 Group, Bomber command. In 1954, the airfield was transferred to the USAAF, until 1957, when it was taken over by Blackburn Aviation, whose NA39 prototype, forerunner of the Buccaneer, first flew from here in 1958. On Thursday, December 15th 1983, British Aerospace’s days at the old wartime bomber base came to an end. Most of the work was moved to Brough and the remainder to RAF Scampton.
