The OV-1D was widely used during the Vietnam conflict as a reconaisance platform as well as a light attack airframe. This version represents the standard trainer used for potential OV-1D pilots in a generic US Army training scheme for an aircraft at Fort Rucker, Alabama, in the early 1970’s.
