BGTL – Thule AFB – Greenland v1.0
Thule US Air Force base in Greenland.
Another one weirdly not included in the sim.
This is a little basic as is, the ground textures in particular need more work for the next version, but all the elements are there. All the buildings were already present so they were left as is apart from a few embellishments here and there.
For some reason the runway is outrageously bumpy and distorted no matter what is flattened and fiddled with so I guess the melting permafrost got to it, and no one said Arctic Flying was going to be easy.
A fuel bay, a fuel truck and a few parking spots are included. As is now customary AI and taxiiing will likely freak out.
Pop ins are a problem but I think this is the same in the entire region and at least this area of Greeland is recognisable as an actual location.
