C-152II Livery N48270 v1.0
These textures are for the MSFS2020 Default C-152. It represents a 1979 C-152II that was based at GFW Aeroservices at Boire Field in the mid-nineties and owned by my instructor, Chris Stephenson, and I flew much of my pilot training in it. As far as I can tell, he still owns it. Serial #15283315
In 1979, Cessna delivered its planes with the N-Number on the tail. Unfortunately, this causes two issues…
- I haven’t figured out how to turn the N-Number off on the fuselage and wing. So if you enter an N-Number, it’ll show up on the plane
- The center panel on the vertical tail plane is mirrored (numbskulls… who does that? The tail is one of the most common locations for logos). I made the N-number a bit smaller to compensate, but, one character on the right side is messed up. Doesn’t look too bad, but it’s a pain.
I may revisit this in the future and straighten out the stripes a bit.
(v1.01 – modified “Cessna” text to be the correct color (black))
