Future Chengdu Tianfu International Airport ZUTF v0.1.0
Chengdu Tianfu International Airport (Chinese: 成都天府国际机场) is an airport being constructed to serve Chengdu, the capital of China’s Sichuan province and a major air hub. The site of the airport has been chosen at Lujia Town, Jianyang, Chengdu, 51 kilometres (32 mi) south-east of the center of Chengdu. It is named after the Tianfu New Area, a development zone for Chengdu in which the airport is located. Construction began May 2016 and the airport is scheduled to open in 2021. It will operate as a second airport for Chengdu with the existing Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport continuing to operate.
IATA: TFU
ICAO: ZUTF
The scenery has been created only with informations found on the aerial view from Google Maps. So, taxiway names, frequencies and ILS approaches are all fictionnal until the real chart will be released (nearly summer 2021), then I will update names, frequencies and approaches legs. I will also add SIDs and STARs and everything that can be done by myself.
Terminal building is the one generated by MSFS itself so not very accurate but quite usable. By the way, if someone skilled in 3D modelling want to join me, we could create a very beautiful scenery of a future major airport in China that I think will not be created by third party developers for years.
This is my first scenery, so if you have some advices, feel free to send me an email.
