M21 Muhlenberg County Airport v1.0
This is M21 Muhlenberg County Airport in Kentucky, USA.
This is a hand edit to fix issues where the default airport was lacking, including but not limited to:
Arranged hangars/buildings and aprons to approximate the real world airport.
Bing map data showed the airport taxiway under construction, resulting in an incomplete and broken taxiway. Placed correct taxiways and did some texture masking of the bare earth to make it look completed.
Refueling area in the correct location.
Rotating beacon and windsock in correct locations. M21 actually has a wind “T” however MSFS has no working equivalent of this I’m aware of.
Minor detailing with scenery objects within MSFS to give it a more finished feel. Not 100% true to life but to add character.
Added light posts to the area so the apron is not pitch black if you come in at night.
Unlike my last airport I did not “Star” this one so it should not pop out on the map at all zoom levels. If I get feedback I may change this, however given the purpose of this is to enhance the airport in sim and not as a highly detailed true to life hand modeled scenery add-on, the star designation may not be useful.
