PLPA-Palmyra Atoll, Northern Line Islands, USA

The Airfield at Palmyra Island was buildt in 1941 with some buildings and the main runway at Cooper Island and an EMM runway at sand Island. It served throug WW2 as a logistic facility among others with the “Transient Hotel” for US airmen on there way to and from the Pacific War Theatre.

Today Palmyra is part of the Worlds largest marine protected area and there are no permanent residents, but from time to time US staff and Scientists host the atoll in a period. The 1524 X 46 meter coral runway can be used with prior permission.

In MSFS Palmyra Airfield was left out, so here it is, and you are lucky since the Island are just visited by a US scientist crew, and they have accepted to Refuel your plane when you arrive, driving an old army truck with fuel barrels down to the runway from the camp, you anyhow have to refuel manually, since there are no fuel spot avail.

The scenery are created with the Microsoft SDK, MSFS DeLuxe version and stock and Addon Libraries by Dave and ESD.

Just unzip, and put the jp-plpa-palmyra-atoll-airstrip and the Addon folders into your MSFS community folder.

REMEMBER TO UPDATE YOUR MSFS, Check via your Profile> Content Manager> Updates in your MSFS, special the SU and Region Updates are essentiel if you dont want to have issues.
