Yaroslavl International Airport (Tunoshna) – Yaroslavl airport – the center of the Yaroslavl region. It is a federal airport . It is located in the Tunoshensky rural settlement of the Yaroslavl municipal district of the Yaroslavl region, 2 km northeast of the village of Tunoshna, 17 km southeast of the center of Yaroslavl, 51 km southwest of the center of Kostroma, near the federal highway M8 “Kholmogory”.
Located in close proximity to the Volga River and from the federal highway M8 Moscow – Kholmogory (on the Yaroslavl – Kostroma section). Bus 183a goes to the airport from Yaroslavl.
Yaroslavl Airport (Tunoshna) is designed to receive and service up to 15-17 aircraft per day. The passenger terminal (with a total area of 1000 m²) is able to provide reception and dispatch of up to 180 passengers per hour – on domestic flights, up to 100 passengers per hour – on international flights. The cargo terminal (area 833 m²) handles up to 150 tons of cargo per day on domestic and international flights.
