Possibly one of the worst “After” airports I have release, but the before was nothing to be happy about
About:
– “VRMV Maamigili” AKA “Villa International Airport” is located on the Island of Maamigili in Alif Dhaal Atoll, Maldives.
– The airport is owned and operated by “Villa Group”
– Developed by native business tycoon Qasim Ibrahim to modernise the island he grew up on.
– The airport opened on October 1, 2011 and in 2013, it was upgraded to international airport standards.
– Runway 09/25, 1,800×30 metres, asphalt
– Tower: 118.900
– Ground: 118.070
Known Issues:
– There is no imported 2D satelite map, so the quality of this content is very low.
