YCHB Cherrabah Airport, Warwick v1.0
Cherrabah Airport sits about 14nm S of Warwick, Queensland. It’s is a short hop to some of my other SE Queensland strips I am doing. It can be a little hard to see as it’s nestled between trees. It is s fun approach and watch for the gum tree on the right as you are approaching from the west. It is known you will need to do a small dogleg on final.
YCHB is quite close to the local resort which hosts a lot of functions and events including dirt and mountain bike events. You can find the resort on the hill not far away from the strip. One of the landmarks to look for when approaching is a small lake, so keep that in mind. Enjoy. Oh and look out for non-native animal!
