Auntie Mabel’s Polka Dot Plane v1.0
Polka dot livery for the Diamond DA40NG inspired by the plane of the fictional character Auntie Mabel and her dog Pippin, of the childrens tv show ‘Come Outside’ that ran from 1993 to 1997.
The original aircraft used was a Slingsby T67 Firefly which is a low wing, fixed tricycle landing gear, with convetional tail. I chose the DA40 as it has the tricycle landing gear and the large thin wing and is accessible to everyone. The tail livery elements i redesigned to fit with the DA40’s T-tail.
