Bell 47G2 Royal Air Force XT138 v1.1
This mod is for the Third Party Helicopter FlyInside Bell 47-G2 FlyInside . You have to buy this add-on to use these files.
Hi folks, here is another Bell 47 livery for msfs. This livery is only for the Flyinside Bell 47G2 and depicts a Roya Air Force Bell 47 “Sioux”, It was flown byt the Royal Air Force’s Central Flying School
Caveats – The real RAF Sioux were G3 variants with turbocharger. Also, pundits will know that the cockpit layout is not “as per” and that there are markings missing on the bubble canopy. I think Flyinside are working on some of these needs and may implement them one day. Also, the livery details are not always 100% accurate due to alignment issues on the texture sheets, so positioning of some lettering etc. may be slightly different to the real thing. Also, I have used some “Poetic License” to create my liveries, so things like the air hoses from scoop to air filter might be slightly off colour, but as I progress, I will find more and more parts I can identify and paint.
I should also add that the main textures are in 8096 x 8096 to give maximum close up detail. If the textures cause FPS issues and slow your box down, please let me know here – if needs be I could add lower resolution textures. But if you look closely at the details, such as the grounding points and the battery labels and other small stuff I am improving on with every paint, you will hopefully find the details worth the extra load.
To install, you must have the payware Flyinside Bell 47G2 installed. Simply unzip the downloaded zipfile either direct into your community folder or to a “storage” folder and then move it to your community folder.
By the way, if you do find anything on my uploads that “irritate” you, i.e. you know better because you have more accurate details, then please. please. please let me know. I will fix what I can.
Once again I have uploaded the wrong file – I am not used to the drag drop where the “D & D” will add the new file but the select file by “browsing to the location” defaults to the last upload.
More haste, less speed! As they say. Sorry
