Boeing 747-8 Flying Tigersl [No Text Mirroring] v1.0

Presenting the 747-8 in the colours of the historic Flying Tiger Line, also known as the Flying Tigers. The Flying Tiger Line was established in 1945 and was named for the 1st American Volunteer Group of the Republic of China Air Force which defended China from the Japanese during World War 2. It was founded by Robert William Prescott and a group of fellow pilots of the AVG upon their return to the US and in 1949 the Civil Aeronautics Board awarded Flying Tiger Line the first commercial air cargo route in the U.S.

The Flying Tiger Line took delivery of its first 747 in 1974 and this paint scheme is based on N806FT, which was named for the founder Robert William Prescott, and flew with the Flying Tigers from 1979 until the company’s sale to Fed Ex where it continued flying in FedEx colours.

Many thanks to kiwitrav who suggested this one to me. I had a lot of fun recreating this iconic aircraft.
