De Havilland DH-89 Dragon Rapide EI-ABI Aer Lingus v1.0
This folder contains a repaint for the de Havilland DH-89 Dragon Rapide by Dave Garwood, in the colors of DH-84 Dragon 2 EI-ABI (cn 6105). The first Aer Lingus flight, which took place in 1936 between Dublin and Bristol, was operated by a DH 84 Dragon, registered EI-ABI and named Iolar (eagle). For the 75th birthday of Aer Lingus, a DH-84 was restored and painted in the colors of that first EI-ABI. The aircraft is currently operated by the Aer Lingus Charitable Foundation. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Dave Garwood.
