De Havilland DH-89 Dragon Rapide ZK-BCP South Island Airways v1.0
This folder contains a repaint for the de Havilland DH-89 Dragon Rapide by Dave Garwood, in the colors of Dragon Rapide #6648 ZK-BCP of South Island Airways. This Dominie had served with the RNZAF as NZ524 before being civilianized as a Dragon Rapide in 1953 for South Island Airways. ZK-BCP was sold in Australia in 1975 becoming VH-BGP. It was once part of the ill-fated Wangaratta Airworld Museum. It is now owned by Bruce Ivers who is having it lovingly restored (as a long term project) at Croydon Aircraft Co at Mandeville, near Gore on New Zealand’s South Island. The freeware model and paintkit used for this repaint were supplied by Dave Garwood.
