Gloster Meteor Mk.8 RAAF A77-851 VH-MBX v1.0
This folder contains a repaint for the freeware Gloster Meteor Mk.8 by Robert Richardson. It shows Gloster Meteor Mk 8 VH-MBX of the Temora Aviation Museum, Australia. Built by Gloster in 1947, it flew with the RAF as VZ467 until 1982. Its last military role was as a target tug. It was flown in private hands in the UK until it was purchased by the Museum in 2000. The aircraft was disassembled, transported and reassembled at Bankstown NSW. It flew to Temora in August 2001, and it has been kept in a flying condition since, flying with the registration VH-MBX. It is painted in the colors of A77-851 of 77 squadron RAAF, Korea, 1951, flown by Sgt. Hale. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Rob Richardson.
