Junkers Ju-52/3m PLL “LOT” SP-AKX v1.0
Polish Airlines “LOT” used one Junkers Ju-52/3m g plane marked SP-AKX, delivered on November 16, 1936. It took 15 passengers. It received the Bristol “Pegasus VI” engines, manufactured in Poland, with a nominal power of 493 kW (670 HP) and a maximum power of 570 kW (775 HP). From the beginning of 1937, Polish Ju-52 performed flights on foreign lines to Berlin, Thessaloniki and Rome. On September 12, 1939, the plane was evacuated to Romania. Since the planes located in Romania were interned, the management of PLL “LOT”, in order to recover some of them, made a fictitious sale of Ju-52 (and Lockheed L-14H, Lockheed L-10A and Douglas DC-2) to British airlines Imperial Airways, giving them English registration marks. However, as a result of pressure from the German embassy in Bucharest, the planes were not returned. After a few months, it was taken over by the Romanian communication aviation.
Btw. The model also doesn’t look like this Ju-52/3m PLL “LOT” from 1939, there are some differences, but this is another topic. The model has a few bugs too, even on textures due of “lazy” approach of Asobo Team responsible for models, so you can notice that on door texture is “-A” letter from the left part of fuselage and his texture. Sorry. I decided to leave it and I reporterted this bug to Asobo team. I hope that they will fix soon.
Installation: just insert unpacked folder (the whole folder named “YoYo’s Ju …”) to Community MSFS folder, that’s all.
