Mitsubishi Pajero – The Sky Lounge Ground Ops v1.0
This mod require the payware software The Skypark from Parallel42. You can purchase it from ORBX.
Well, someone had to do it. Port the Mitsubishi Pajero into MSFS, I mean. So she is here now. Not super, but still fun to motor around in. Hopefully more updates to the model will be coming.
In the mean time, since I had made Sky Lounge liveries for it in P3D to marshall around K5KY air park I figured I would have to create the liveries here in MSFS. There really was not getting around it. Version 1.0 contains the first of at least two liveries for the Pajero. I will update the version as liveries are added.
For this livery to work, you must have, or download the Mitsubishi Pajero original file. It can be found here: https://www.allflightmods.com/microsoft-flight-simulator-2020/msfs2020-aircraft/drivable-car-mitsubishi-pajero-v1-2-1/
Download the .rar file and extract the main file into your community folder. If it is done correctly you will find the base file “Mitsubishi PAJERO – SkyLounge” in your community folder. If you open this folder you should find two more folders along with the layout.json and the manifest.json. If you have any trouble, there are a myriad of videos and instructions on how to install liveries into your community folder.
Of important note: Once you fire up MSFS for the first time after you’ve installed the plane and the SkyLounge livery a new file will magically appear in your community folder. It is called “Mitsubishi PAJERO_CVT_”. This file will need to be kept in your community folder for the Pajero and its susequent liveries to function. It is a file that MSFS creates and installs and will not harm your sim. So when you see it appear, it’s Ok.
Driving your new Mitsubishi. You will find challenges. Bridges are one. You will not be able to drive under bridges. In MSFS bridges are solid objects, like buildings. No driving through those either. You will find it difficult to drive over bridges. You will need to be moving as fast as possible and line up perfectly to cross a bridge. Even then, you may not make it. Never fear, you can use the slew function to get you over or under a bridge. You can’t drive in water and it doesn’t fly . . . very well. The glass is VERY dark. You can barely see into the Pajero and certainly cannot see out. You will need to drive in outside view. Unless you like the challenge of driving blind. Otherwise, it is quite fun to drive. I highly recommend taking to the Las Vegas strip at night. Never know, you might catch a glimps of a star entering one of the casino’s.
