Dominicana had one of the most striking liveries in the DC-6, quite modern for it´s time and which aged really well. Even though not so popular worldwide, Dominicana operated many flights to the US serving the many dominicans that emigrated to north america.
After the introduction of the jets in the company, the HI-292 was converted into a freigther and kept flying with Dominicana de Aviación until 1994 when the airline went bankrupt.
She was also eventually spotted in a beautifull bare metal Dominicana livery that I also took the time to create a version here.
