ROCAF F16V for SC Designs v1.0
Disclaimer :
The livery is just a repaint. You need to purchase the SC Designs F16 in order to fly this aircraft.
The Gambler :
Followed the history of the ROCAF we talked about in another of my liveries, during the WW2, all of the ROCAF brave pilots were sacrificed during the war with the Axis Empires due to the enemy was outnumbered. After the Japanese invasion to the Pearl harbor, the US government decided to train the ROCAF pilots in the Luke Airforce base. Those ROCAF pilots were under the command of the 56th Fighter Wing of the USAF during the war and after the war.
The vintage of the pure blood of the USAF 21st squadron of the 56th Fighter wing hence shared with the ROCAF 21st squadron of the 455th Tactical Fighters Wing (aka the 4th Wing) in Taiwan forever. The two squadrons share the same team logo, the Gamblers, with the two porker cards A and K of the black jack. This means “We play to win”.
On Nov. 18th, 2021, the world’s first F-16V combat squadron was officially commissioned at the Air Force’s Chiayi Base. It includes the 21st Squadron and the 22nd Squadron of the 4ths Wing of the ROCAF.
The F16-V is a jet fighter co-developed by US and Taiwan, mostly invested by the Taiwanese government; hence, Taiwan is the only place in the world which is capable and authorized to upgrade the F16 to F16V for the free world.
The ROCAF F16Vs are not equipped with the shape adaptive take as the interception mission requires high maneuverability and the Taiwan government can not affort high power engine, so the tank was dropped. However, for the upgrades from other countries, the AIDC can surely do it.
