U.S. Air Force Academy Trainer – Diamond DA40 NG v1.0
This livery is based on the T-53 light trainer aircraft currently flown by the 557th Flying Training Squadron based at the U.S. Air Force Academy. This aircraft is used to give Air Force Academy Cadets exposure to flight training before formally joining a branch of the U.S. Military and starting formal flight training. Cadets often fly in the summer months around the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO.
IRL the T-53 is a Cirrus SR20, which replaced the Air Force’s Diamond T-52A, which was a Diamond DA40. If anyone who owns the Cirrus SR22 in MSFS would like to adapt this livery to that aircraft for more realism I would be more than happy to share the files I used.
I also suggest keeping your tail number short or placing dashes “–” to make it effectively invisible, until we can actually disable tail numbers easily. If it is too long it can overlap with the roundel.
