U.S. National Park Service Cessna 172 (G1000) – Park Ranger v1.0
The U.S. National Parks Service operates fixed wing aircraft across the U.S, with significant presences in places like Alaska and the Western U.S, to perform a number of missions including resource management, backcountry patrol, cargo and personel transport, as well as supporting local SAR, Firefighting, and law enforcement efforts. They operate a diverse fleet of rented and owned aircraft, largely consisting of smaller GA aircraft and helicopters. This particular livery is based on a seaplane refurbished by the Park Service in 2017 in Nevada. I found a couple of pictures of what appears to be a land-based Cessna painted in a similar scheme, but in general the NPS fleet is quite diverse.
This is currently painted for the Cessna 172 G1000 version, because I don’t have the premium version of MSFS at this point. If you want to adapt this livery for your favorite plane, I’d be happy to share the files. All I ask is you give credit and link back to this scheme. If there is interest I may do other aircraft at some point.
