End Times Prophecy comes to Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 – Fly and visit the seven churches from the book of Revelation in modern time.
Start – This bush trip starts off at the Ikaria (LGIK) – Ikaria National Airport in Greece.
WP1 – Fly over the Island of Patmos – This is where John was considered to have been exiled to during a time of persecution under the Roman rule of Domitian in the late 1st century. Revelation 1:9 states: “I, John, both your brother and companion in tribulation…was on the island that is called Patmos for the word of God and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.” – Travel SSE (heading 153) for approximately 24NM or about 12 minutes if traveling at an airspeed of 120KTS.
Leg 1 End – Selçuk Efes Havaalanı (in modern day Turkey) – Travel NE (heading 40) for approximately 53NM or about 26.50 minutes if traveling at an airspeed of 120KTS.
WP2 – The Church of Ephesus – This was the first letter that Jesus wrote through John in the last book of the Bible (Revelation 2:1-7): known for having labored hard and not fainted, and separating themselves from the wicked; admonished for having forsaken its first love (2:4). – Once leaving the airport, travel SE (heading 139) for approximately 1NM.
Leg 2 End – Adnan Menderes (LTBJ) – Travel NNW (heading 333) for approximately 23NM or about 11.50 minutes if traveling at an airspeed of 120KTS.
WP3 – The Church of Smyrna – This was the second letter that Jesus wrote through John in the last book of the Bible (Revelation 2:8-11): admired for its tribulation and poverty; forecast to suffer persecution (2:10). – Once leaving the airport, travel N (heading 351) for approximately 7.8NM or about 4 minutes if traveling at an airspeed of 120KTS.
Leg 3 End – Cigli AB (LTBL) – Travel NNW (heading 313) for approximately 8.9NM or about 5 minutes if traveling at an airspeed of 120KTS.
WP4 – The Church of Pergamum – This was the third letter that Jesus wrote through John in the last book of the Bible (Revelation 2:12-17): located where ‘Satan’s seat’ is; needs to repent of allowing false teachers (2:16) – Travel NNE (heading 7) for approximately 36NM or about 18 minutes if traveling at an airspeed of 120KTS.
WP5 – The Church of Thyayira – This was the fourth letter that Jesus wrote through John in the last book of the Bible (Revelation 2:18-29): known for its charity, whose “latter works are greater than the former”; tolerates the teachings of a false prophetess (2:20) – Travel SEE (heading 107) for approximately 34NM or about 17 minutes if traveling at an airspeed of 120KTS.
Leg 4 End – Akhisas AB (LTBT) – Travel S (heading 177) for approximately 6.7NM or about 4 minutes if traveling at an airspeed of 120KTS.
WP6 – The Church of Sardis – This was the fifth letter that Jesus wrote through John in the last book of the Bible (Revelation 3:1-6): admonished for – in contrast to its good reputation – being dead; cautioned to fortify itself and return to God through repentance (3:2-3) – Travel SSE (heading 150) for approximately 22NM or about 11 minutes if traveling at an airspeed of 120KTS.
WP7 – The Church of Philadelphia – This was the sixth letter that Jesus wrote through John in the last book of the Bible (Revelation 3:7-13): known as steadfast in faith, keeping God’s word and enduring patiently (3:10) – Travel SEE (heading 105) for approximately 24NM or about 12 minutes if traveling at an airspeed of 120KTS.
