Bush Trip – Scottish Circumnavigation Part 2
(The Borders Edinburgh and Fife)
Part 2 of the Tour starts from Stranraer (Castle Kennedy) and heads across the Border region before heading up the eastern coast to Edinburgh and northwards to end at Kinross in Fife.
We start at Castle Kennedy near Stranraer, head down the Isle of Whithorn before venturing NE towards the first stop at a difficult strip at Glenswinton Farm. From here we head across to an old WWII airfield before heading up and around the coast to the Firth of Forth and Edinburgh. Unfortunately, until the UK update comes out in January 2021, the bridges across the Forth are a disappointment – the rail bridge is missing entirely and the two road bridges are just roads across the water. Hmm! Anyway, you can see Arthur’s Seat as you head into Edinburgh. Once at the bridges, we turn north to head up through Fife and land at our final destination of Kinross.
