BushflyingDelight’s Adventures V1.0
BushflyingDelight is offering you adventures that can be experienced within Microsoft FlightSimulator. It is a scenery package, yes, but the idea is more to offer you adventures that can be experienced within MSFS; SAR, difficult landings for STOL acrobats and some kind of detective story. It is fictional work. If you will like that kind of game experience I would be happy to continue to tell you the story of “Crazy Vince”. Everything happens in that beauty of bushflyers paradise: Kodiak Island in Alaska!
the directions in your pdf file are poorly written and can’t be followed
I continued and found the boat, however I think you should suggest some better altitudes and directions.
I had great fun *because* of the vague directions. If I’d had GPS coordinates (and a GPS) a could have flown directly to the spot and that would have been boring. Instead, flying my Cessna L-19 I had to search for the strip and it took two trips to find the hideaway.
I actually landed on the strip the first time and didn’t realize that it was really the right place. The weather was closing in and the wind started to blow so I scuttled back to Larsen Bay. I swear my ground speed was no more than 40MPH, so it took a while.
Next time out I flew all over creation, even up in the mountains looking for another lake, but there’s was only one. So I ended up landing in the same spot, the only field without trees or brush I could find.
I dove into the woods and found nothing, so I tried the other side of the strip and found a site where someone was going to build a log cabin. Nearby I found the hidey-hole and other proof I was there, which I won’t reveal.
Going to spend the night, and see how things go tomorrow. But I sure had fun today.
