flightplans for the Ghan v1.0
Flight plans for the route of the famous train “the Ghan” crossing the whole continent of Australia from Adelaide to Darwin.
These are very long trips, so chose a fast plane (TBM 930 or faster)
zip file contains the following distinct flight plans in both PLN and LNMPLN :
1. Adelaide to Alice Springs
2. Alice springs to Uluru (Ayers rock),Kata Tjuta ( valley of the winds) , King’s canyon and back to Alice Springs.(The fly-over of Uluru is available as extra option to passengers of the Ghan )
3.Alice Springs to Darwin.
Unzip to yr desktop; drag the PLN files to yr Little navmap flight plans foilder ( or delete) and the LNMPLN files to the folder where you ( want to ) keep yr MSFS flight plans.
To import flight plan into MSFS; start the programme, on the WELCOME screen, select WORLD MAP, select yr plane and at the bottom of the page select MORE, then select LOAD/SAVE, then LOAD and select the flight plan in the file where you stored the LNMPLN files. Depending on chosen plane, the flight plan will be loaded into the plane’s system.
Flight plans start with plane ready to fly on the runway. In the TBM 930 do not forget to turn up the panel lighting ( on overhead panel, but depends on yr add-ons). Parking brake under the yoke. After taking off, switch off the inert separator ( on lefthand panel marked DE ICE SYSTEM). Do not fly the TBM at full throttle; the turbine will overheat and the ITT gauge( Interstage Turbine Temperature) will show a warning……..
These are sightseeing flights, so select your own cruise altitude.
