Welcome to Osaka International Airport (located in Osaka, Japan).
In 2006, Itami was Japan’s 3rd busiest airport and the Kansai region’s busiest.
The use of runways 14R and 14L when the prevailing wind is from the east is commonly called “14 (one-four),” “reverse run,” or “reverse landing flight” by aviation professionals and fans.
The landing on runway 14R is also known as the “Itami Curve” because the trajectory that the aircraft makes when landing is similar to the “Hong Kong Curve” that is famous at Kai-Tak Airport.
