KHIG – Higginsville Indl Muni Airport (FS2024) v1.0
The scenery that started my journey into scenery dev for FS2020 is back – for FS2024!
Welcome back to KHIG, Higginsville Industrial Municipal Airport, just outside the town of Higginsville, Missouri. This is a single-runway GA airport in the heart of the USA, also home to Higginsville Avionics LLC.
Features:
* All major buildings are custom
* A few parked cars and one static GA plane
* Parking spots / tarmac start positions where they should be (if you fly out of KHIG and I’m wrong, please correct me 😉
* No taxi lighting (yet? see below)
* Just a touch of night lighting
* Fuel spot by the fuel tanks
* My first FS2024 release!
BUGS
I will say this first: NO MATTER WHAT I TRIED, TAXIWAY SIGNS DO NOT APPEAR. Either I have not created the signs properly (possible, but unlikely since I worked with the setup the sim gave me), or there’s a bug with placing taxiway signs that has not been fixed yet. On the other hand, KHIG has just one main taxiway to runways 16 and 34, with looping sections at either end of the runway to get pilots facing correctly.
PENDING FIXES
* Taxiway signs (lol)
* Taxiway lights? (I dunno, a small GA airport like KHIG might not have any)
* Additional details to buildings? (Some)
* Additional terrain corrections
* Maybe a way to get rid of some other lights
