A-6 Intruders first saw action during the Vietnam War where the Aircraft were used extensively against targets in Vietnam. The aircraft’s long range and heavy payload (18,000 lb/8,170 kg) coupled with its ability to fly in all weather made it invaluable during the war. This Repaint is of Navy Squadron VA-176 “The Thunderbolts” This aircraft has a working tail hook and folding wings ..Included are actual pictures of the Squadron aircraft and History of the Squadron and A-6 Intruders.. 2d panel included.
